It’s Here!

Did we do it? Did I do it? Did I actually write and publish a book?!

Yesterday was crazy busy. Between doctors appointments, an actual day job, therapy, and book release things, I may not have been able to manage well without coffee and snacks, but I made it! And we have a book!

This has been a long time coming, and I’ve struggled a lot over the years with what this book could (and should) be, but I didn’t give up on it (even when I was exhausted and scared). I am so proud of how this book turned out, yall!

That’s it, that’s the tweet. I’ve been finding myself saying this a lot lately, lol.

I’m having a Zoom party on the 13th to celebrate. Visit our book page to purchase a copy of the book and register for the party. Those who register and attend, will be entered to win a gift box from me.

Let me Introduce You to My Book Cover

When I was first thinking about this cover reveal, I decided I would split the image into twelve pieces and post one piece every Tuesday and Friday for six weeks. After the second day, I was annoyed with the thought of it [smacks forehead]. Last week, I decided to post a new row of images (3 pieces) Tuesday, Friday, and today until the cover was complete in my Instagram feed.

By the end of today, the full cover will be visible on the @ninentwo Instagram grid. However, since this blog and whoever reads it have been with me through this entire process, I wanted to show you the cover first. Also, the way the cover images were separated resulted in a little bit of distortion, so the image on Instagram isn’t perfect.

The book is being prepared to be available for sale on November 1st to kick off my favorite month. Let me know what you think of the cover!

A Book Cover Reveal

New post on a Friday? Something must be happening!

Yup! My book cover has been finalized! YAY!! I’ve been impressed by the most complicated part of myself to reveal it slowly on Instagram over the next few weeks.

Now, you could check out our Instagram page every Friday and Tuesday for the next six weeks to see each piece revealed in what hopefully turns out to be a beautiful 12-post spread on our feed, or you could just visit our IG in 6 weeks to see the full image… whatever feels good in your spirit… but I hope you choose the first option.

We’ll still have a new post here every Tuesday, so don’t worry, but this seems like the loveliest way to do a cover reveal. The book itself will be released in November, so stay tuned for more info on that.

To release party or not to release party? That is the question. I’m thinking something a little personal, a little virtual, but definitely putting the book cover on a Publix sheet cake and taking more pictures of it than appropriate!

If you have any ideas on how you’d like to celebrate this book release with me, I’m open to suggestions!
