I’ve been contemplating this for quite some time, but I’ve decided to officially put Christine’s Book Collection on an indefinite hiatus. You may be thinking, “okay…you’ve only got like eight followers anyway so who cares?” Yes, I’m pretty sure there are less than 20 people who follow this blog, and I post so irregularly that they probably wouldn’t even notice I was gone, but I don’t like incompletion so let me just have my moment.

I started this blog just over two years ago during a major transition in my life where I was struggling and needed a distraction. And while I’m grateful for having this baby blog as part of my life, there are other things I want to focus on now. Am I saying I will never come back to this place and start posting here again, maybe grow it into a toddler blog or an angsty teenage blog? No. But I am saying the time has come for me to do something else.

I appreciate all of you who’ve followed this blog over the last couple of years. Though your numbers are few, I still consider it a treat that anybody was interested in reading what I had to write.

For now, I shall bid you all adieu.
